The History
The gatehouse is a 14th century structure near St. Davids Cathedral. It has been given emergent repairs, but the intention is to fully restore it. The restored gatehouse will give space to provide information and displays, making the life and history of the Cathedral far more accessible to vistors than it it is at present.
What is needed
So far, as of December 2000, £2,226,548 has been raised for all the restoration projects for the Catheral, but the goal remains £3.5m. The entire "Millennium Appeal" will cost £4,214,000. Your contribution/gift is needed.

Update:
The gatehouse is now restored and open to visitors. The cost was £450,000. There is a £1.00 admission fee.
